NRN Conference Thank You Note From INLS

Dear community members,

International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) recently participated on First Non-Resident Nepalese (NRN) Conference (http://www.nrn.org.np ) in Kathmandu to seek support for our campaign called “Lets Unite Every Community to Keep Nepali Identity Alive and Vibrant” and strengthen the link between the Diaspora Nepali community and Nepal. We published NRN special issue of the magazine and distributed in Nepal. Thanks to Chief Editor, Suman Timsina for publishing a quality magazine. Our participation to the NRN Conference was highly successful. Our President, Mr. Puru Subedi who represented INLS at the conference, was able to promote work of INLS to the NRN representatives from over 40 countries and seek their support. In addition to promoting work of INLS, he also presented on the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) forum. He introduced a concept called “E-Literature” and proposed to expand horizon of Nepali literature to include this new literary form. He also discussed ICT investment opportunities and policies for NRN.

INLS would like to thank following for their help in Nepal:
